You can’t allow for others to be placed above you in your own head. You need to be the head of the world in your own mind. You can’t admire others, you can find inspiration from the actions of other people, but you cannot allow for yourself to think other people are better than you. You can’t let yourself think that other people are capable of achieving more than you’re capable of achieving. They may have different talents and skills than you have, but you can’t allow yourself to think they actually have more capacity than you.
