The Improved You

    Put your all into it. Don’t cheat yourself. You do not want to NOT accomplish your goal and then have to look back and think about all of the effort you DIDN’T put in. You don’t want to ever deal with THOSE type of regrets. If you have to fail no matter what, you need to fail putting in the maximum amount of effort over the maximum amount of time you could put it on. But here’s the thing — if you’re putting in the maximum effort you could put in, and sustaining it over a decent amount of time, and don’t quit when it’s discouraging, and don’t do things to sabotage your progress as you’re making it, there’s no way that you WON’T accomplish the goals you’re trying to accomplish. Be great.

    Instead of trying to see what the least amount you can do to get the result you want, you really got to focus on just doing EVERYTHING that you can do EVERY DAY to make whatever you want to happen, happen. You’ve got to not only go all in on the effort, but you also have to discontinue doing the things that are taking you further AWAY from your goal. And then you need to structure your life in a way that makes whatever habits you’re doing each day to accomplish your goal as easy as possible. HELP YOURSELF. Put yourself in the BEST POSITION TO WIN. If you’re doing things that you know aren’t going to lead you to success, figure out how you’re going to replace those activities with things that WILL bring you success. If you’re doing things that you not only know aren’t going to lead to success, but are actually going to SET YOU BACK (such as having drinks the night before you’re heading into a big meeting) then stop all of that IMMEDIATELY. You can’t keep playing around with your life.

    It’s all about the social connections and interactions you have, the networking. How you deal with and associate with other people is going to be the biggest determinant in how your life is going to go. The better you become at communicating the better your life can become. And if you are a master communicator it’s almost an impossibility for you to NOT get to the paper. In fact, when you know how to talk to people the correct way you’re in a position to get whatever you want in life. Communication is the most valuable skill for you to learn. More than any hard skill, it’s definitely the soft skills. If people like you and if people respect you, you could very well be incompetent and others are going to prop you up. If you’re amazing at what you do, but nobody actually likes you, everyone else is going to use their power and influence to get you on up outta there.

    Don’t work your ass off only to do something that is going to stunt all of the progress you’re making. It’s simply going to lead you backwards, waste your time, and create a high level of frustration because you’ll feel as though you did so much work for nothing. An easy example of this is someone who goes to the gym every day and works out hard, but has a terrible diet, and never sees any of the gains from the hard work they’re putting in. Or someone who makes a lot of money at their job but spends every dime that they have. It’s not the move.

    If you are struggling financially, then ALL of your effort needs to be placed into conquering that struggle. YOU HAVE TO HAVE MONEY!! Whatever you want to do in life is going to require money. You will ALWAYS need money. focus on income, because anything else and everything else going on in your life is affected by it. And the majority of the issues you have in life can either outright be solved by money, or can be greatly improved by throwing money at it, OR you’ll be making so much money that you won’t worry about whatever problem it is that you have. The more money you have the more smoothly your life will run, the more options you will have, the better your life can potentially be. There are very few downsides to having more money.

  • What Do I Really Want?

    What is it that I really want? What is the quickest/most efficient way there? What do I need to change about myself to get it? What habits do I need to develop? What, if done on a consistent basis, can I do that won’t only allow me to win but will virtually guarantee that I can’t fail? Once I figure out what that is, I need to do it.

    Whatever you do, make sure you do not isolate yourself from others and from society overall. You need to always circulate amongst the people, maintaining a robust social life. When things are not going your way, this is when you most need to be around others, to get different perspectives on your issue, and usually to get clarity that whatever is going wrong in the moment is not the right he of the world.

    Carry yourself like a king and you will be treated like a king. Carry yourself like a commoner and you will be treated like a commoner. You absolutely have maximum control over how you are treated by the outside world, because people are only going to treat you the same way you treat yourself. If you’re putting 100% effort into building yourself into being the best version of yourself, others are going to notice this, they are going to recognize this, and they are going to treat you as such. If people can tell that you regard yourself as a top tier person they have no choice but to receive you as a top tier person as well.

    Spending time — and more importantly energy — worrying about tomorrow, anxious about if you’re making the right moves, is not the way you really want to live. You want to be able to live with confidence, to be able to operate with boldness. If society is putting you in a situation where you can’t properly express yourself, you’ve got to shake loose and start living a freer life.

    You can’t think average and do average things and expect that you will get above average results. It just doesn’t work like that. If you want to get a different outcome than everyone else, you’re going need to put in unique inputs. You can do what you’re told, which is the same thing that everyone else does, and you will receive the same thing that everyone else receives. This is certainly not what you want. Special outcomes require a specialized approach. You’re not going to copy someone else’s blueprint and get better results than the person you copied. If you want to get better results you’ve got to do something that is out of the ordinary. In fact, you need to do A LOT that is out of the ordinary. If you choose to just do the ordinary things everyone else does, you are going to get the ordinary results everyone else gets.
