You’ll waste your whole life THINKING about what to do, overthinking possible scenarios that are never going to even get close to happening because you’re too scared to take the actual first step necessary and make a decision. Stop the paralysis by analysis and train yourself to focus intently and completely on whatever it is that you need to do. Let go of the distractions and extracurricular activities, and put all of your energy and resources into whatever your main goal is. So stop the thinking and get right to the action. YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT TO DO. So why keep your brain gnawing about it?? Put your thoughts into practice, because this world only rewards results, and ACTIONS are what produce results. Trust yourself to make your own decisions. Believe in your own instincts.

Challenges are God’s greatest blessings. They give you an opportunity to see who you really are on the inside, in your gut, in your heart, in your mind. They allow you to test yourself. They give you an opportunity to rise to another level, test your limits, to expand your horizons, to raise your standards. They give you a chance to test your mettle out and prove something to yourself.

Compete at all moments, all of the time. Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready. Never prepare for just a sole event; instead, prepare for ALL events. Get ready for ANY situation life could possibly throw your way. You can’t “save it” for the big day; no, instead, you’ve got to be RELENTLESS in your pursuit of excellence and improvement. You cant’ wait until the last minute; you need to treat EVERY minute, every moment, every opportunity as though it is your last.

It’s very important to focus and concentrate your energies on as few things as possible. Rather than trying to be a hack of all trades and trying to get 100 things accomplished at one time, if you’re able to focus all of your energy on just one objective, you’ll be able to get it done more quickly and efficiently. And over a long enough period of time, and with proper consistency, you’ll certainly be able to accomplish more goals over all.

You must set yourself apart. You need to become distinct. You have to be unique. You can’t walk around acting and speaking like everyone else does and expect that you are going to get treated any better or any differently than the rest of the group gets treated.

The fact that you are under is what makes people curious. You need to get little, disappear, and lay low from people sometimes. You can’t always be present because people will simply take your presence for granted. Even if you are incredibly consistent and are a high performing, high level member of people’s lives, at some point people will just take your consistency for granted. You have to remove yourself from the equation occasionally in order to eventually get the appreciation you deserve. Absence creates fascination and desire — use that to your advantage.

Don’t worry about tomorrow. Don’t put too much consideration into the future. Definitely PREPARE for the future, but don’t spend your mind’s energy living in it. Focus on the present. Focus on doing what you need to do today, do what you can in the moment. Put all of your energy into that and your future will take care of itself.
