There’s no failure. As long as you’re still going, still putting in the work, still striving, still challenging yourself, there is no such thing as failure. The only failure comes if and when you decide to quit. THAT is the only failure. Giving up is the only way to fail. So get “failure” as a possibility out of your head.

Be VERY CLEAR about what it is you want out of life (or a particular short-term or long-term situation) and the limits you will go in order to get whatever that is. The key here is to be ABSOLUTELY CLEAR about what it is. You can’t just have a vague idea or a general feeling about what you want, you need to know EXACTLY what you want. And you can’t just have a general idea of how far you’re willing to go to it, you need to know the HARD LINE you will not go past in order to get it. And if there are no lines you won’t cross to get what you want, you need to acknowledge that as well.
And the second step is to be brutally honest about WHY you want it. And it is crucially important that you why comes from your own heart or your own mind. It can’t be because your wife wants you to be like X, or your parents have X goal for you, or because you’re doing it because you’re worried about what other people think of you. Your why needs to be YOUR why. And it doesn’t matter at all WHAT the why is, as long as it is YOUR why.

Never run from problems. Never hide from accountability. Seek more and more responsibility as you grow and improve, as more responsibility will HELP you grow and improve. Seek responsibility before you’re sure you’re ready for it. Put yourself into positions where you’ll be forced to step up to the plate, where you’ll be forced to get more out of yourself than you are currently getting. Don’t wait for others to give you more responsibility; instead, actively take the initiative and find more things you can do. Nobody should have to tell you to find more work to do, you should always be a step or a number of steps ahead of them. Don’t get complacent. Never seek comfort; instead, seek out more and bigger responsibilities. This is a key step in you being able to fulfill your potential.

If you want your life to improve, the best thing you can do is to become a giver. The more freely and willingly and frequently you give, the better you will live. That’s just how the universe works. The law of reciprocity is a real one. Instead of thinking in terms of getting the most out of a situation or wasting your energy trying to make sure you’re receiving all that you feel like you “deserve”, you’d be better off spending your time and energy focused on how you can face more. What do you need to do to give more to the situation? How can you put yourself into position to be able to give more? How can you be able to help more people? If you focus more of your attention on those things, you’re guaranteed to get more out of life than you ever even wanted in the first place. Take care of people and people will take care of you. Do right by the universe and the universe will do right by you.

You definitely know what you want. And God is showing you that it is certainly available to you. So you should believe that you can have it, because you most definitely can have it. In fact, it is already yours. The universe is simply holding it for you — all you have to do is go pick it up.
But the road to picking it up isn’t going to be an easy ride; there will be many twists and detours. You’ll face flat tires, you’ll need to fill up your tank and refuel constantly, you’ll have breakdowns and will need to change vehicles many times in the journey. At some points you’ll be able to follow directions line for line, at other points you will have to trust your intuition. At all points though you will need to trust in your ability to make it to your destination.

Everything that you don’t have that you feel like you “need”… I can guarantee you that you don’t need it. You already have everything that you need to get to the point where you need to get to. The problem is that you don’t want to work. You don’t want to work from the point you’re currently at, with the resources that you already have.

If you want things to happen, you have to push for them. You need to have an aggressive mindset when it comes to getting things done. you need to recognize and truly realize that life is very competitive, and achieving your goals is going to require you to really tap into your competitive nature. Waiting around, being passive, and waiting for what you want to come to you is a damn fool’s mentality. It’s a lazy man’s move, and it’s a scared man’s move, and there is no amount of coaching or advice that can account for cowardice and laziness. You’re much better off making a lot of mistakes because you’re too aggressive and doing too much, as opposed to missing out on opportunities because you’re being weak and passive and disguising it as “patience”.

Overthinking is most likely a plague on your life that is preventing you from reaching the level of life that is available to you, the level that you most definitely SHOULD be able to reach. Procrastination may be preventing you from taking the C level life you’re currently living and turning it into an A level life that you truly deserve. All of the dopest parts of life — and that could be vary from person to person — but living where you want to live, and doing the types of things you want to do with your time, and working on the type of projects that bring you fulfillment — is all available to you. It’s what you’re supposed to have, it’s what your spirit deserves; it just requires your body and mind to get out and do the work that is required to turn these visions into reality. Life is meant for you to be striving within it, not just living it.

Be serious about your life, be serious about your goals, and be EXTREMELY serious about the type of and the level of work you’re willing to do in order to make it happen. You don’t have any room for excuses because all making excuses will do is lead you to regret. You’re better off dealing with all of the challenges and doubt and anxieties and emotions that come with trying to make your dreams come true, as opposed to dealing with the struggles and consistent pain that comes with failing, being okay with mediocrity, and regret.
